The More The Meowier With These Cat Memes Celebrating Feline-Filled Homes

One cat is great. Two cats are even better. Three cats? Now we're talking. Ask any cat lover how many cats they'd ideally have, and there's a good chance their answer is at least one more than they currently own.

It's hard to be satisfied with just one when there are so many adorable kitties out there waiting to be loved.

Every cat has its own little purrsonality, which is part of the problem. You might already have a cuddly orange boy who follows you everywhere, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't also love a sassy tortie who runs the household. A fluffy little void would be a lovely addition, too. And who could say no to a pair of bonded kittens?

Before long, you've mentally adopted half the cats at your local shelter.

Cat lovers also have a habit of finding potential new family members everywhere they go. A stray kitty hanging around the neighborhood? Better stop and say hello. Someone posts about kittens needing homes? Suddenly, you're checking whether you have room for another litter box.

The Cat Distribution System certainly doesn't help matters. It has a habit of sending adorable little furballs to people who weren't necessarily planning on expanding their feline families.

Having multiple cats also means getting to watch their relationships develop. Some become inseparable cuddle buddies who spend their days grooming each other and sharing sunny spots. Others spend their time chasing each other through the house, stealing each other's food, and arguing over who gets the good chair.

Either way, there's never a dull moment.

We can't forget about the entertainment value, either. One cat can get into plenty of trouble on its own, but a whole group of them? You might as well cancel your streaming subscriptions. Between the dramatic wrestling matches, coordinated attempts to steal dinner, and occasional midnight stampedes, you've got all the entertainment you need.

Naturally, every additional kitty comes with more responsibilities. Food, vet bills, litter boxes, and enough attention for everyone aren't things to overlook. We want every feline family member to be happy and properly cared for, no matter how tempting another adorable face might be.

Still, we reserve the right to look at pictures of adoptable cats and imagine how perfectly they'd fit into our households.

Our couches might be running out of space, but our hearts certainly aren't.

As far as we're concerned, if there's still open space on the floor, there's room for another cat! Who needs walking space when you could have another adorable little furball running around? Sure, getting from the kitchen to the couch might become an obstacle course, but that's a small price to pay for more feline friends. Just watch where you step!

We firmly believe every cat lover needs at least one of every kind of cat. An orange kitty with questionable decision-making skills, a sassy tortie who runs the house, a mysterious little void, and a tuxedo who never stops talking. Throw in a fluffy Maine Coon and a dramatic Siamese, and you're getting somewhere! How are we supposed to pick just one when every kind of cat brings something different to the family?
